Neurocorrection classes start in LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB

We have a new LEVCHYK family member! We are pleased to welcome a new specialist — neuropsychologist Halyna Masko. Thus we have added a new activity to our hub — neuropsychological correction. Many children have already enjoyed it! And we are glad to make their learning even more interesting and effective!

"Neurocorrection is the process of interaction between two hemispheres of the brain, which we stimulate with various exercises. It helps improve the functioning of the nervous system," says Halyna Masko, a neuropsychologist at LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB.

The neuropsychologist works with:

• difficulties in reading, writing, and arithmetic;
• difficulties in switching attention;
• memory, speech, and motor disorders;
• low psychophysiological resources and increased fatigue;
• difficulties in controlling behavior.

The main types of neurocorrection include:

• physiotherapy and physical activity (exercise, yoga, underwater therapy);
• music therapy and art therapy (drawing, needlework);
• stress and relaxation (meditation, various techniques to improve the psycho-emotional state, use of a dark relaxation room).

A dark sensory relaxation room is perfect for neurocorrection sessions. Here, the child can concentrate and feel safe, there are no external stimuli, and it is possible to work with certain sensory stimuli.
