Help for Ukrainian women who survived sexual violence committed by the russian military

Let’s help women overcome the consequences of psychological trauma and start a new life.
Purpose of the case
To raise funds for conducting supervision for psychologists of the Gidna project, who provide anonymous psychological help to Ukrainian women who have suffered sexual violence from the russian occupiers, and to provide informational support for the project.
Why is it important?
The experience of psychologists who work with the trauma of sexual violence proves that women begin to talk about what happened to them only after 8 years passed. Everything can be changed if you receive help from qualified specialists earlier.
For this purpose, the Gidna project was created — a safe space of understanding and support where every woman can count on the help of a qualified psychologist.
Consultations are provided anonymously and free of charge. Our experienced psychotherapists work specifically with the trauma of violence and have received special training with psychologist Ruth Dorum from the Israel Trauma Coalition, who specializes, in particular, in working with the trauma of sexual violence and the mental consequences of war.
What is needed?
The goal is to collect 5000 euros. This amount will cover the cost of conducting regular supervisions for psychologists within the framework of the psychological help program for 10 Ukrainian women and provide informational support to the Gidna project.
How to support the case?
You may directly donate to this case. Let’s help women overcome the consequences of psychological trauma and start a new life.
