Support Ukrainian defenders who lost limbs in the war — help them return to a full-fledged life.

The purpose

To raise funds for high-tech prosthetics and rehabilitation of Ukrainian veterans who lost limbs as a result of hostilities.

Why is it important?

According to official data from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, more than 50,000 Ukrainians have suffered amputations as a result of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine and require expensive functional prosthetics and rehabilitation.

Losing a limb is not just a physical trauma. It is a new reality that affects a person’s ability to work, move, care for loved ones, and feel part of society. People after an amputation face phantom pain, psychological challenges, musculoskeletal disorders, and a sense of loss of self every day. Modern functional prostheses and professional rehabilitation make it possible to return to an active life, regain control over one’s body, and plan for the future.

Supporting those who sacrificed their health to protect the country from its enemies is our shared responsibility!

The FFU foundation provided the following charitable assistance in the Medical Help direction for years of operations:

  • High-tech prosthetics and rehabilitation for 34 Ukrainian defenders at Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics for a total of USD 2,100,000.
  • Rehabilitation under the gait optimization program for 22 veterans at MCOP Ukraine for a total of UAH 1,100,000.
  • 220 metal osteosynthesis operations.
  • Necessary equipment and medicines for 22 medical institutions in Ukraine for a total of UAH 2,200,000.

How to contribute?

Each of your contributions to the ‘Prosthetics for Ukrainians’ case brings our defenders, who are awaiting functional prosthetics, closer to their dream — to regain freedom of movement and live a full-fledged life again!

Donate any amount — together, we’re changing the lives of Ukrainians for the better!
