Help to create a safe space for the development of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in Mykolaiv

The purpose

Raising funds to launch the LEVCHYK Spectrum Hub in Mykolaiv, which will provide help to families raising children with autism spectrum disorders and other diagnosed disorders.

We aim to scale up the project so that families in other cities across the country can also receive free help. Mykolaiv is a city located near the battle zone and frequently under fire, as are some other settlements in the Mykolaiv region. We want to provide access to free, high-quality correctional therapy for families raising children with disorders who need support.

Corrective therapy is a basic necessity for the normal psycho-emotional development of children on the spectrum and is the key to their further integration into social life.

We are convinced that every contribution you make to the development of the LEVCHYK hub increases the chances of children with autism spectrum disorders leading a full and fulfilling social life!

What's needed?

  • Equipment for correctional therapy
  • Furniture for rooms
  • Educational materials for classes
  • Hygiene products, household chemicals
  • Covering the hub's administrative costs
  • Paying specialists: speech therapists, rehabilitation specialists, ABA therapists, sensory integration specialists, and specialists in correctional therapy.

Why is it important?

In a special room, children on the autism spectrum can relax and redirect their visual attention to tactile, olfactory, and auditory sensations, contributing to the formation of new neural connections.
