FFU handed the VAC device to the Kramatorsk hospital

On August 13, the Future for Ukraine Foundation provided a VAC device with consumables to Kramatorsk City Hospital No. 1.

Vacuum therapy (VAC) is a modern method of healing complex wounds, both acute and chronic. VAC is used to treat soft tissue defects that cannot be eliminated by primary suturing.

Currently, the device is needed to treat patients who have suffered from hostilities and are in the surgical department of a hospital with burns and wounds.

Kramatorsk is regularly shelled by the Russian military, targeting and destroying civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

As of August 10, since the beginning of the full-scale war outbreak, 705 civilians have died, and 1,823 people have been injured in the Donetsk region, not counting the number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovaha. The head of Donetsk OVA Pavlo Kyrylenko announced the numbers.

We wish the patients of Kramatorsk Hospital a speedy recovery.
