To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, FFU and its partners held a series of charity workshops. Participation in each of the workshops was a direct donation to the GIDNA project, which provides free psychological help to women survivors of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). Together, we managed to raise 141,770 UAH, which will be allocated to sessions with psychologists and direct assistance for women, so they can trust themselves and the world, live, dream, and love.
The Future for Ukraine Foundation’s team understands that you need to start with yourself to support others. We offered a fundamentally different view of charity — to create a unique experience and raise funds for a good cause. Together with our incredible partners, we held a series of events aimed at restoring the resource, finding inner peace, creative meditation, and help. We are sincerely grateful to the partners who made this possible!
The first series of events was a stretching master class by A.Studio and Anastasia Kondratenko. The guests had quality time for themselves through gentle immersion in a state of calm, body relaxation, and breathing exercises.
Pollen Buro organized a floral master class "Spring Composition", where visitors created unique compositions and felt how floristry can become an aesthetic way to express emotions and notice the beauty around them.
Together with its partners, DOM and Medik8, FFU organized a charity resource morning where guests of the one-day retreat had the opportunity to relax, meditate, reboot, and contribute to supporting Ukrainian women. The guides at our improvised local Bali were the teachers of the 108-in-se yoga studio and Lidia Arfush.
Celebrity makeup artist Tamiko Levchenko also joined the charity initiative for the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict by raffling off a place on a makeup course.
BURSA hosted the final event — a charity brunch that brought together opinion leaders and women entrepreneurs to discuss the importance of mutual support and assistance. Anna Hrubaia, a psychologist and curator of the GIDNA projectʼs, gave a lecture on CRSV.
As part of the event, NUGA STUDIO held a master class for the audience on creating special keychains and presented exclusive GIDNA charity keychains to support the project. Each was a quiet “I’m with you” encrypted in Morse code.
We are grateful to our partners and guests for their contribution to the recovery of Ukrainian women who suffered from the brutal consequences of the war. We have once again seen that, united by the desire to help, we can do anything!
If you or your loved ones have suffered from CRSV, we are here so that you are not alone with your pain.
