How the exhibition "Children. War. Future." was held in the Kyiv metro

The charity fund Future for Ukraine and the NFT project "Mother, I see war" organized a charity project in Kyiv - an exhibition of children's drawings "Children. War. Future". 300 children's works were exhibited in the upper lobby of the Golden Gate metro station from July 9 to 17.

"The war affects all Ukrainian children, regardless of where they are. Unfortunately, all of them are traumatized, they were not supposed to see this war, but they see and experience it," said Olena Sotnyk, co-founder of Future for Ukraine, at the exhibition’s opening.

The paintings of Ukrainian children from all over the country showed the horrors of the war that took place in Mariupol, a city that was occupied and bombed by Russian troops, Buchi, one of the first cities where the Russians mass-murdered and raped civilians, and other populated areas of Ukraine.

"What these children feel is fear of war, anxiety. But on the other hand, there is faith, hope, support, and understanding that there will be bright days in the future," said Danylo Tsvyok, co-initiator of the "Mother, I see war" project.

We would like to add that part of the drawings for the exhibition were provided by the project "Mother, I see war", which creates the world's largest manifesto collage of children's paintings about the war in Ukraine. It will exhibit at an international charity digital NFT auction. The funds from it will be transferred to the humanitarian aid fund for children affected by the war.
