Prosthetics for Ukrainian defenders in Washington, DC. Digest 5.0.

How did another week go for our military in Washington? It was a concentration of funny episodes, walks in New York, attending the premiere of Anton Ptushkin's film, and lively movements in Manhattan. As always, a busy week in Washington leaves the men no time to be bored or idle. Read our digest to find out more about the latest week of our defenders' prosthetic treatment. For some men, it was their last week in the USA.

1.

The men devote their free time to cultural events.

The soldiers attended a screening of Anton Ptushkin's film “We, Our Pets and the War” in Washington.

2.

A visit to the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States and a meeting with the military attaché, General Borys Kremenetskyi.

3.

The men could feel the adrenaline and the smell of gunpowder again this week.  Vlad, Oleh, and Andrii went shooting with the American military.

"It was an incredible experience that is very important for us. Thanks to it, we got a new portion of faith in ourselves and our ability to win even in the most difficult conditions," — Andrii shared his impressions.

4.

In the evening, they attended a stand-up concert by Ukrainian comedian Anton Tymoshenko and donated their items for an auction to raise funds for the army’s needs.

5.

At the end of the week, our defenders traveled to New York.

They walked around the city and also visited the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations at the invitation of Sergiy Kyslytsya.

6.

Saturday morning was spent actively in New York's Central Park:

The men participated in a charity training session by Sashko Chaika and Olya Right.

7.

Pavlo and Denys completed their prosthetics and rehabilitation program.

A large support team accompanied them to the airport.

8.

Andrii, Oleh, and Vlad are actively working with rehabilitation therapists. Soon it will be time for them to return home.

When a prosthetics and rehabilitation program comes to an end, it is always a sensitive moment. After all, from the first fitting to the confident steps on prostheses, we live a small life together with our defenders. And we are extremely pleased to be able to contribute to such a large-scale change in the lives of our heroes! We are grateful to those who support our prosthetics program and the fund's patron, Vadym Stolar!
