The period of our military’s prosthetic treatment in Washington is coming to an end. This time was full of new challenges and tests of strength for our heroes. But at the same time, it was inspiring and motivating because it allowed them to feel mobile again!
We feel a little sad, but we know for sure that new pages of their stories await our defenders, full of new exciting adventures. We invite you to read our new digest about the defenders’ final week in the USA!

The defenders actively worked with rehabilitation specialists and prosthetists on the final carbon sockets for the prostheses. Everything had to be perfectly adjusted before departure.
All efforts were focused on training and rehabilitation exercises so that they could continue performing them independently at home.

Our heroes were invited to the opening of a store owned by our fellow countrymen. Being thousands of kilometers from home it's crucial to support our own!

BBC staff visited the clinic and interviewed our soldiers. The military shared personal stories and combat experiences. It is crucial to remind the global community about the realities of the war in Ukraine and its consequences!

The last day in the USA, a long journey home, and the much-anticipated reunion with loved ones after prosthetics!
«Prosthetics in Washington has been an important stage in my recovery. Thanks to FFU, I have had the opportunity to return to an active life. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported and continues to support this program, giving dozens of Ukrainian soldiers a chance for a full-fledged life!» — said defender Vladyslav Kurilov.
