Ukrainian brands protecting children in the spectrum!

The importance of protecting children, especially in times of war, cannot be overestimated. They often suffer the most from the consequences of military conflicts. Not only do children face physical and psychological trauma as a result of direct hostilities, but they also experience the effects of general stress and instability, which affects their mental and emotional health.

Children on the autism spectrum require special attention in these circumstances. Due to their special sensitivity and vulnerability, they need help and support. Because in times of war, they may be less able to adapt to new, stressful conditions and have a harder time enduring hostilities and their consequences.

On the occasion of International Children's Day, FFU is launching a charitable cooperation with representatives of socially responsible businesses to support children with autism spectrum disorders, who are cared for by our LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB in Lviv. We brought together our partners to raise funds for free remedial classes for children diagnosed with ASD who were evacuated to Lviv with their families at the outbreak of full-scale war.

This is how Ukrainian institutions and services supported us:

  • Visit the Puzata Hata restaurant chain for a delicious lunch in June and July. On a paper tray set, you will find all the information about the LEVCHYK hub, learn a lot of interesting information about autism, and be able to sign up for remedial classes for kids on the spectrum.
  • On 1 June, visit the 044 cafe in Kyiv throughout the day. The café is preparing a charity cutlet for children and adults.

The cafés address is 85/87 Velyka Vasylkivska Street.

Opening hours: from 9:00 to 22:00.

  • On 1 and 2 June, the BROOKS cafe in Dnipro will open a children's photo zone guarded by Levchik, a loyal friend of children on the spectrum. You can hug and paint him and even stick stickers on him, which you can buy for a donation at the location. All the money for the stickers will go to correctional classes at the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB.

The address of the cafe is 4 Vyacheslav Lypynskyi Street.

Opening hours: from 8:00 to 22:30.

  • The fundraising for correctional classes for children with ASD from the Planeta Kino and Dobro.ua cinema chains is ongoing. As well as, monthly special cartoon screenings for children with autism spectrum disorders and their parents from Planeta Kino.

On 4 June, watch the cartoon "Imaginary Friends" at Planeta Kino in Kyiv (River Mall) and Lviv (Forum Lviv). The screening starts at 16:00. The discounted ticket price is 50 UAH.

  • Throughout June, buy a Green Chef grill bar and help children on the autism spectrum. The profit from the sale of each bar will go to the needs of the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB. You can buy the goodies offline and online at Green Chef stores, at MVK beauty salons and Planeta Kino cinemas.
  • Throughout June, you will be able to get information about autism and the LEVCHYK hub in MVK salons. Look for stickers on the manicure tables, learn about the cooperation between MVK and LEVCHYK, and make donations to support children on the autism spectrum using a QR code.
  • The Antoshka chain of children's stores congratulated our lion cubs on the holiday and sent gifts with toys to the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB.

We appreciate your support and thank you! After all, the protection of children, in particular those on the autism spectrum, should be a priority for society in times of war. They need a special approach that involves their needs and characteristics to ensure their safety, protection, and support.

We wish peace and a happy childhood to children all over the world!
