The previous mission to the Kherson region demonstrated the acute problems and needs of this region. But there were so many people willing to take part in the help that we decided to go again with humanitarian packages to the Kherson region — from now on to the territorial communityl of Muzykivka, which was dismissed in November.
About the case
Our efforts are aimed at helping the residents of the de-occupied territories. With the collected funds, we plan to buy food and other goods to form complex humanitarian kits. Within the scope of the mission, 300 families will receive assistance.
Purpose
To help the residents of the territoriallocal community with food and provide their basic needs against the background of ongoing hostilities.
What is needed
We plan to deliver food and personal care products, candy, clothing, baby diapers, and more.
Why is this important
The Russians continue to shell the de-occupied part of the Kherson region every day. Critical infrastructure facilities, medical facilities, student dormitories, and residential buildings are the targets of attacks. In addition, the region is still recovering from the occupation, and residents are suffering from a lack of food and basic services. It is humanitarian programs that help local councils to improve the food supply.
Every contribution will go towards the purchase of goods for humanitarian kits.
*During the negotiations with the Muzykivka community, we learned that the situation with food has improved while our team was preparing for the mission and, currently, the issue of handing over first aid items, namely food products, is not acute.
Therefore, our team decided to direct humanitarian aid to the villages of the Chornobayiv territorial community of the Kherson region, where the need for help is more acute. Namely in food products, hygiene products, household chemicals, etc. All collected funds will also be directed to food needs.
