FFU Christmas mission to the de-occupied Kherson region

On December 27, the Future for Ukraine foundation, with the Vilni public movement, implemented a humanitarian mission to the liberated villages of southern Ukraine. 360 residents of the Kherson region received help in the form of food kits, hygiene and care products, kits for pregnant women, warm clothes, sweets for children, and animal feed.

For Ukrainians who live in the recently de-occupied territories and are under fire from the occupiers every day, this support is vital. After all, now humanitarian aid is practically the only possibility of survival for the residents of the Kherson region.

This mission is extremely important because every day the Kherson region and its population suffer from terrorist acts by the aggressor country. Enemy troops are continuously shelling the region, as evidenced by the tragedy that occurred on December 24, the eve of Christmas, in Kherson itself.

"Despite the daily shelling by the occupiers, the people are indomitable! Despite everything, they continue to live there, struggle, and prepare for the holidays. Because each of them has hope for our victory in their hearts!" — says Olga Glyuza, head of humanitarian assistance at Future for Ukraine.

We managed to realize this mission with the joint efforts of charitable foundations, public organizations, business representatives, and volunteers. This year's "Christmas basket" consisted of food products from the "Ukraine, I'm for you" foundation and the Revival Foundation Washington DC within the socio-economic program Food for Good, which was created to support the Ukrainian producer and to provide Ukrainians with food products within the country, saving money on logistics costs for international donors, who donated not only food products, also packages for pregnant women. A charitable foundation “ENJOYING LIFE” provided to volunteer medicines. L'Oréal Ukraine — provided cosmetics for care and personal hygiene. And the fragrant bread is always baked by the Good Bread from Good People bakery.
