An annual charity run
in support of veterans
who have lost limbs

Held
since 2024

Brought together
almost 5,000 people

Winner
of the National Contest
"Charitable Ukraine-2025"
How it all began
The idea for the run came in response to a request from veterans themselves — to be visible, to remain part of society, to take action. So we created Go to the Future — an event where people with limb loss can test their strength, feel the support of the community, and find inspiration for a new life and new achievements.
Last year there were 1,500 participants; this year, already 2,000. This shows that people are becoming more open to veterans and understand the importance of social support. Building a barrier-free future certainly requires systemic change in society, but if each of us starts with ourselves — taking a step toward veterans, as the participants of our run do — a future without barriers becomes possible.

For the first time at the run — a distance with dogs
This year the run also became open to four-legged friends. We launched a 1 km distance with dogs.
And it immediately became popular 🙂
WATCH REELS
Among the participants of the distance were brave canine officers of the National Guard of Ukraine’s dog service.

The ambassador of the distance was singer and founder of the UnderBooks app, Dasha Astafieva.
Go to the Future traditionally grows in popularity among younger and more active participants
In 2026, almost 200 participants took part in the Kids’ Distance — to support our defenders and test their agility.
Functional prosthetics and recovery give people a chance to return to an active life even after amputation. This is the message we share with society, calling on veterans who have lost limbs not to give up!

Charity training with Secta Run Club
Ivan Artiukh, a participant in the Future for Ukraine prosthetics program, leads a training session for the Secta Run Club running community in the Botanical Garden in Kyiv ahead of Go to the Future 2026.

Even after losing a limb, Ivan continues to play sports: he plays amputee football, swims, and runs. He has won eight gold medals at the international veteran competitions Air Force and Marine Corps Trials and is preparing to compete in the 2028 Paralympic Games.
