Together with our partners, the Medical Help Ukraine project of the Association of Ukrainians of the Republic of Ireland, the Future for Ukraine Foundation delivered an ambulance to the Katerynopil Central District Hospital in Cherkasy Oblast.
The hospital is in urgent need of a new car. The institution gave its fleet of two ambulances to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They didn’t have transport left to transport patients, so the staff was happy and very grateful for the renovation.
The car was driven across the border from Warsaw by the Foundation's team. Lisa, FFU's key project manager, was behind the wheel because impossible is nothing for a hard-working girls' team when it comes to helping Ukraine.
In addition to the car, we managed to deliver medical equipment, which is currently lacking in the hospital: wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, bath carts, urinals, roll bags, masks, respirators, harnesses, bandages, and bulletproof vests.
