The Future for Ukraine Foundation welcomes the MEAL manager on board. Anna Lanchuk, a psychologist by training, knows firsthand what the foundation's support means — her husband, Oleksandr Chaika, is a veteran who lost his leg near Popasna and became the very first participant in Future for Ukraine's prosthetics program back in 2022.
Now Anna has joined the team to establish a systematic approach to evaluating the effectiveness of our aid and identifying areas for improvement.
MEAL management (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) is an international practice used by leading humanitarian organizations to ensure that aid is not only consistent but also measurably effective.
As part of her role, Anna is responsible for:
- collecting, analyzing, and validating data on the outcomes of psychological sessions;
- monitoring the effectiveness of work with beneficiaries and adapting approaches accordingly;
- training the team in evaluation tools and data management;
- preparing reports for donors and partners
Anna Lanchuk, MEAL Manager at Future for Ukraine: Working at the foundation means being surrounded by driven, purposeful people who make the world better through action rather than words — offering a ray of light, hope, and a real chance to return to normal life for those who need it most. I am grateful to be part of such a team, and in these dark times for our country, to have a hand in building good and shaping Ukraine's future
Thanks to this, Future for Ukraine will be able to make decisions based on real data and ensure that every person who turns to the Foundation for assistance receives support that genuinely meets their needs. It demonstrates the foundation’s allegiance to transparency principles for our donors and partners.
