LEVCHYK SPEСTRUM HUB hosted a conference with leading experts in helping children with ASD

On April 1-2, our LEVCHYK SPEСTRUM HUB hosted a specialized conference entitled "I CAN!" about comprehensive care for children on the autism spectrum, where we were co-organizers. The event was dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day, celebrated on April 2.

The conference brought together leading experts in medicine, ABA, rehabilitation, and speech therapy to tell parents of children with ASD and professionals who work with these children about the best achievements and practices in working with the autism spectrum.

Around 150 guests attended 10 lectures and 12 master classes conducted by 25 speakers. In particular, at the event, experts talked about global techniques in physical rehabilitation and the impact of ABA therapy on the development of a child on the autism spectrum. Experts also talked about preparing a child on the autism spectrum for school and shared life hacks with teachers in working with kids.

Solomiya Chubay opened the conference — a musician, singer, public figure, and philanthropist. She sang a lullaby that she used to sing to her son Oleksa when he was anxious or upset. Among the speakers of the event were Natalia Masiak, a psychiatrist and expert at the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, who spoke about achievements in work with children with autism for 2023; Alla Moskalets, President of the Ukrainian Association of Behavioral Analysts, who shared the prospects for the development of ABA in Ukraine during the war and the experience of cooperation with European universities in helping IDP children.

For LEVCHYK SPEСTRUM HUB, hosting an event of this level is a tremendous breakthrough in recognizing our efforts. And for our specialists and parents, it is even more knowledge to identify autism spectrum disorders in children as early as possible and provide timely assistance.

We are grateful to our patron Vadym Stolar, who helped open LEVCHYK SPEСTRUM HUB and supports its work!
