Einstein said that there are two infinite things. We have our version of this famous expression — the universe of children on the spectrum and gratitude to our partners who never let up on supporting all our charitable initiatives are endless!
So recently, thanks to the Ukrainian manufacturer of sensory development equipment Sensoriya and David Auble, we managed to equip a large sensory integration room in our LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB!
Children with ASD are very sensitive to sensory stimuli due to disturbances in the CNS and brain. It means that it is difficult for them to combine their senses and adequately perceive objects, and they have some difficulties in space orientation.
Sensory integration will help children connect with the world, feel their bodies and actions, respond correctly to impulses, and handle objects. Six months of such classes are enough for the child to practice a certain reflex, and his life becomes safer and qualitative changes have come.
So now children on the autism spectrum can better develop their sensorimotor skills and sense of their bodies in space.
Sincere gratitude from us and children from LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB to our partners for helping to create such important conditions for the development of children!
