The National Rehabilitation Center will treat 50 000 Ukrainians every year, first and foremost, those who were physically and mentally traumatized due to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Rehabilitation services will also be available to patients who need rehabilitation due to other injuries and illnesses.

The National Rehabilitation Center of Ukraine will be established within the First Medical Association of Lviv. It will provide quality physical, psychological, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Among other directions of the Center’s activities, there will be surgery, including reconstructive surgery, as well as orthopedics, and robotic prosthetics. The Center will not only install prostheses for Ukrainians affected by the war but will also produce them. 3D printing of bone implants is also expected.
