Work on the information field of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war continues. On 25 April, the Ukrainian House in Washington, DC, hosted an exhibition of children's drawings "Mom, I see war" and an exclusive private screening of the documentary film "The Hardest Hour" by Alan Badoev. The event was attended by representatives of American cultural diplomacy, Ukrainian defenders, who are currently in Washington for prosthetics and rehabilitation, and David Auble, a respected member of the FFU USA board of directors.
"The Hardest Hour" film is the quintessence of pain, strength, and struggle embodied in the stories of ordinary Ukrainians, filmed on their smartphones. The first days of a full-scale war, the occupation of cities, and the resistance of the people. These images could not leave anyone indifferent. Indeed, all the guests were experiencing the pain of Ukrainians caused by the russian invaders at that moment.
"This film is not just a film project, it is the real voice of people, who are going through the war. We need to share their stories so that the world understands what is really happening!", said Karina Kapitaniuk, Head of Projects and Programmes at Future for Ukraine's medical direction.
"These events have become not only important cultural and diplomatic events for Ukraine but also a way to demonstrate to the world the need to fight against russia's military aggression. Only through joint efforts can the civilized world defend democratic values and human rights!
