Princess Mary of Denmark visited Ukrainian defenders in Washington, DC

Princess Mary of Denmark met with Ukrainian soldiers undergoing prosthetics and rehabilitation in the United States. She visited the MCOP clinic to witness firsthand how Ukrainian heroes were recovering from serious injuries.

The Princess shared her great admiration for Ukrainian women doing incredible things, particularly the founders of the Future for Ukraine (FFU) charity foundation, who assist Ukrainians in overcoming the consequences of the war. The FFU team and the Princess discussed the need to take care of the defenders’ mental health and their ability to socialize and return to work — these are important issues that our society still needs to address.

We are grateful to Princess Marie for her support! And also to everyone who helps us take care of Ukrainian soldiers — the professionals of the MCOP clinic and the Pfizer Foundation, which provided us with a grant for the prosthetics program. Thanks to you, the men have a chance to return to an active and free life!
