The Future for Ukraine Charity Foundation is launching a series of events for Ukrainian women GIDNA.
GIDNA is a project to help women overcome the most difficult period of life, restore love for themselves and their bodies, and see life differently. To restore a sense of strength and faith that they are worthy of the best and capable of achieving what they want.
Where to find strength and orientation in the unstable and unpredictable time of war? The first event aims to inspire Ukrainian women in Poland — to develop, feel involved and trust, help adapt to new realities and find motivation for self-realization.
"Many women who evacuated abroad currently feel lonely and confused. Their lives changed radically: they could lose their jobs, homes, and contact with loved ones and find themselves in an unfamiliar country with one emergency suitcase.
At GIDNA events, women will feel that they are not alone in the hardest times for them. We want to help Ukrainian women of any age to believe in themselves, their strengths, and their capabilities. We want to create a friendly circle where you can share your experiences, adjust your inner compass, and feel that life goes on. And it is beautiful," — says Olena Sotnyk, co-founder and president of the Future for Ukraine Foundation.
Speakers:
Olena Sotnyk is a Ukrainian lawyer, politician, and former Member of the Parliament of Ukraine. She was Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the PACE, a member of the Bureau of Women Parliamentarians in the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and a vice-president of the political group Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe in the PACE. Sotnyk was the first female to represent Ukraine in the Yale World Fellows Program.
