We care about the mental health of Kyiv residents

We care about the mental health of Kyiv residents

19.02.2024

Every day, the occupiers fire dozens of missiles against our country, and one news story after another attacks and depletes the mental health of Ukrainians. Devastation, fatigue, anxiety, and panic have become our constant companions.

To take care of the psychological condition of Kyiv residents, the second strategic session on mental health development was held in the capital on 16 January. It aimed to develop projects and algorithms for psychological support for the city's population under enemy shelling. The event was attended by more than 70 representatives of government and charitable and public organizations. The results of the session will be included in the city plan to support the mental health of Kyiv residents.

Yevheniia Volkova, Head of the Women's Aid project at FFU, was also invited to discuss the following topic. “The creation of this program and psychological services for Kyiv residents is an extremely necessary thing now. It is a great advantage that the authorities have involved representatives of various organizations that directly provide psychological assistance and know all the areas of development in this area. We believe that all our achievements will be useful in creating the future plan, and we are ready to help with its implementation!” said Yevheniia.

We thank the Kyiv City State Administration representatives who invited us to participate in the session for their trust in the expertise of our specialists! Together, we are taking care of the mental health of Ukrainians!
