We have set up fundraising for building a network of Ukrainian child development centres, which will be located in the cities with the largest number of migrants.

Children are in desperate need of an environment where they feel secure with psychological support, education and adaptation, after the traumatic experience of war and evacuation.

 

What we’re going to do

We plan to create more than 50 centers in the EU with each Hub’s capacity from 100 to 250 children per day. After 3 months the project’s estimated impact is 80% of children visiting Hub are psychologically stable, adapted to local culture and rules of behavior.

Center-based program for children of different ages (3-12 years) will empower their social and behavioral development. The program is considered to become a welcoming environment of care, psychological support and adaptation for children who suffered from war and had experienced evacuation.

Daily available expert help on cultural and psychological adaptation will be provided by a volunteer team of education professionals: teachers, babysitters, child psychologists and speech therapists.

The program also includes an event program with family days and master classes, creating points of humanitarian aid for children's needs.

Project costs will be spent on providing operating officers, snacks, water and basic hygiene products for children and the team, equipment & children's furniture, procurement of necessary equipment for administrative documentation and accounting, as well as information campaign.
