Osteosynthesis systems for the injured with bone fractures

Since the beginning of the war, hundreds of Ukrainians have been admitted to hospitals with multiple bone fractures and require immediate surgical intervention.

An effective method of bone fusion is metal osteosynthesis — the joining of fragments with the help of titanium plates. It ensures a strong fixation of the juxtaposed fragments until their complete fusion.

More than 183 military and civilian Ukrainians have already operated within the case.

Purpose

Provide patients with consumables for the operation to install the metal osteosynthesis system.

What is needed

The cost of a metal osteosynthesis system is from 8 to 15 thousand hryvnias.

Why this is important

Every day of the war, Ukrainians get injured on the battlefield, suffer from artillery shelling, or get trapped under the rubble of shelled buildings.

Unfortunately, not all patients can pay for the operation or receive help from the state, which spends all its resources to protect its existence.
