2 Years of Future for Ukraine × BetterMe Collaboration Supporting Veterans’ Physical Recovery

Two years ago, Future for Ukraine partnered with the Ukrainian IT-product company, BetterMe, which focuses on physical and mental health and has over 150 million users worldwide, along with Esper Bionics, Danylo Inteligator, and Dr. Farhad Ostovari, to launch a specialized training program for people who have lost limbs.

The program was designed by Dr. Farhad Ostovari, a physical therapist with 14 years of clinical experience working with the U.S. military with prosthetic limbs. It features over 200 unique exercises of varying intensity and duration, helping participants to:

  • strengthen muscles;

  • improve joint mobility;

  • increase endurance;

  • maintain overall balance

Today, the Future for Ukraine × BetterMe collaboration is one of the foundation’s most successful projects. Thousands of veterans continue their rehabilitation at their own pace thanks to the BetterMe app.

The initiative raised more than UAH 3.5 million for the Prosthetics of Ukrainians program over the past two years. In just the last year, BetterMe: Health Coaching raised UAH 1.8 million to provide state-of-the-art prosthetics and assist in adapting our defenders.

We thank BetterMe for this huge support! To help Ukrainian defenders who need prosthetics, download the BetterMe: Health Coaching app.
