A charity flower-arranging workshop titled “An Autumn Flower for GIDNA” took place in Antwerp, Belgium. This was the latest in a series of initiatives by florist Kateryna Zakrevska, who brings Ukrainian women together to create and help others. Held in the welcoming space of Casa Mia, the workshop gave participants the opportunity to create their own autumn floral arrangements.
The creative gathering had an important purpose: to support Ukrainian women affected by the war. The initiative raised €400, all of which will go towards Future for Ukraine’s GIDNA project.
We sincerely thank florist Kateryna Zakrevska for her care and for organising the workshop, Casa Mia for providing the venue, and every participant for helping Ukrainian women access support and begin to heal.
The GIDNA project provides professional psychological support to women who have survived conflict-related sexual violence and those whose loved ones are in captivity or missing. Participants can receive up to 20 individual sessions with a psychologist free of charge and attend monthly support groups.
