At a time when the enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine, we should be united and work for the sake of the country and its citizens. Some people, on the contrary, choose to sow discord, and fraudulently use the labor of others for their own benefit.
Unfortunately, we have to inform about the fact of illegal use of the name and trademark for goods and services belonging to the Future for Ukraine charitable foundation. Namely, in an official letter to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany with a copy to several consulates of Ukraine in Germany, M. Leonidov, who pretends to be the head of the public relations department of the FFU, asks for help and assistance in the activities of the future representative office Future for Ukraine in Germany.
With this letter, we officially inform you that the person named M. Leonidov is not an employee of the Future for Ukraine fund, and does not have any authority to correspond with diplomatic institutions of Ukraine in foreign countries on behalf of the foundation.
We care about the reputation of our foundation and its donors. Therefore, we make every effort to respond quickly and efficiently to such cases of illegal use of the Future for Ukraine name.
- Correspondence with government institutions and beneficiaries on behalf of the foundation is authorized only by the FFU Supervisory Board members listed on the foundation’s website.
- On behalf of the CEO, we reported to the police about the fact of the crime for preliminary investigation.
- We prepared official letters to the embassies and consulates that received the appeal to prevent further communication with the fraudster.
All our projects and programs are implemented by the joint efforts of three foundations — Charity Organization “Future for Ukraine Charity Foundation” CO “CF Future for Ukraine” in Ukraine, Foundation Future for Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, and the FUTURE FOR UKRAINE Foundation Inc., registered in the US state of Maryland (501c3).
Currently, the FFU development strategy does not include the opening of a representative office in Germany, so we kindly ask you to treat such requests for help on behalf of our foundation as fraud.
With care and kind regards,
FFU team
