LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB in Lviv continues to provide a supportive space for parents of children on the autism spectrum—a place where families can connect, exchange experiences, gain new insights, and find inspiration in one another's stories. Thanks to the support of the project's patron, Vadym Stolar, these meetings are part of the comprehensive assistance that Future for Ukraine provides to families raising children on the autism spectrum.
The latest parent support group meeting was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The special guest was Viktoriia Kravchenko, mother of 13-year-old Tymofii, who is on the autism spectrum, and author of the children's book Compass of Adventures, a story about love, support, and acceptance within a family.
Viktoriia openly shared her family's journey, the lessons they have learned, and the approaches that helped them navigate different stages of raising a child with autism. Tymofii joined his mother at the event and happily helped with its organization.
Through interactive activities, parents explored ways to better understand their emotions, open up, and speak honestly and compassionately about the challenges they face.
Meetings like these offer something truly invaluable — a sense of support and the reassurance that no family has to face these challenges alone.
