Metal osteosynthesis systems were installed in 183 Ukrainians in six months

From April to September, thanks to the collected funds, we operated on 183 patients. We paid for 192 operations thanks to your support to our partner medical institutions. For half a year, every day we perform one operation to install the metal osteosynthesis system!

Metal osteosynthesis is a modern method of treating complex bone and joint injuries using special titanium implants. They allow to fix the fracture reliably and improve the fusion process.

The cost of the metal osteosynthesis system for one limb is from 8 to 15 thousand hryvnias. Sometimes special screws and rods need to be placed in multiple places, so the cost of the operation increases. Although medical care in Ukraine is financed by the state, currently the country cannot fully provide the necessary medical materials for effective treatment.

Future for Ukraine took the initiative to help wounded Ukrainians and began by collecting funds for metal osteosynthesis systems. Your financial support is extremely important to us for further work.
