Over two years ago, we opened the first LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB in Lviv, a place of safety, development, and support for children on the spectrum who were forced to leave their homes due to the war. Here, they can learn again, discover the world, and take their first steps towards a confident future.
In 2024 alone, 55 IDP children with autism spectrum disorders received more than 8,500 correctional classes at LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB in Lviv which helped them to develop necessary skills and adapt to society’s life.
We want to create places like LEVCHYK in every city where children and their families need support. And we are pleased to share with you the news about a big step towards the realization of this dream. We have signed a memorandum between the Mykolaiv City Council and the FFU Foundation, which will become the basis for the Levchyk Spectrum Hub opening in the city.
"The opening of the Levchyk Spectrum Hub in Mykolaiv, a city that has remained a vulnerable area and constantly suffers the consequences of war, is highly important for the Foundation. We have been working on this for a long time, and finally the foundation for this project has been set up. We hope that in the fall, families raising children with ASD will be able to receive free help," says Olena Nikolaienko, President of FFU in the United States.
We are already working on the project and believe that this year, families in Mykolaiv will find support and confidence in knowing that they are not alone!
