Future for Ukraine has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Christian Corps, led by Oleksii Serediuk, and the Nadiia Youth Initiative Charitable Foundation, headed by Vita Prysiazhniuk. Under the agreement, the partners will begin accepting applications and referring Ukrainian civilians and military personnel for lower-limb prosthetic care at no cost.
Oleksii Serediuk, Commander of the Bratstvo Battalion of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine“We owe a debt to the service members who have paid a terrible price for Ukraine’s freedom. The immediate priority for Christian Corps and Nadiia Foundation is to ensure they have everything they need and do not have to face this hardship alone. That is why we are joining a programme that offers advanced medical solutions. We are confident it will help them walk with confidence again and return to their everyday lives as soon as possible”
A working visit to MCOP Ukraine: from prosthetic care to recovery
Oleksii Serediuk, Commander of the Bratstvo Battalion of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine; Dmytro Linko, Commander of its Stuhna Special Unit; and Vita Prysiazhniuk, President of Nadiia Foundation, visited the MCOP Ukraine prosthetics centre in Kyiv to see first-hand how modern prostheses are made and how patients progress through adaptation and recovery.

Together with Olena Nikolaienko, President of Future for Ukraine USA and the foundation’s strategist and fundraising lead, the guests explored FFU’s prosthetics and rehabilitation work, which the foundation continues to develop with support from its patron, Vadym Stolar. During the meeting, they learned in detail about the full process of making custom prostheses and the gait optimisation programme.
Dmytro Linko, Commander of the Stuhna Special Unit of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine“Our duty is to do everything we can to help Ukraine’s defenders return to work, family life, sport and their personal goals as soon as possible. That requires the best prostheses and the best specialists”
The scope of support and access to care
FFU’s lower-limb prosthetics programme, Iceland Supports Mobility in Ukraine, is being implemented with grant support from the Government of Iceland and Embla Medical HF.
The programme provides prosthetic care free of charge to all Ukrainian citizens, both veterans and civilians, who have lost a lower limb on or after 24 February 2022, regardless of the cause, including combat injuries, illness, road traffic accidents or other accidents. Applications can be submitted on the programme’s website.
