Care from the first days of life: Future for Ukraine delivers specialized nutrition to children at Okhmatdyt

The war affects even those whose lives are just beginning.

We received an official request from the National Children’s Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt for specialized nutrition for children affected by russian aggression who require particular medical care from the very first days of life.

With financial support from Zagoriy Foundation, Future for Ukraine delivered 90 bags of Numeta G16E parenteral nutrition to the hospital.

Parenteral nutrition is critical for newborns and children who, because of their medical condition, are temporarily unable to receive the nutrients they need through regular feeding. It supplies the body with essential nutrients during treatment, supports recovery, and helps reduce the risk of complications.

“Numeta G16E is a modern intravenous nutrition solution for children from the first days of life who are unable to receive breast milk because of their medical condition. It will be used exclusively when medically indicated for children who require specialized nutritional support”

We sincerely thank Zagoriy Foundation for its partnership and support for Ukrainian hospitals. This assistance provides children with life-sustaining nutrition during treatment and helps doctors save the lives of their youngest patients 💛
