Preparing for Easter is always a special time for children.
On the eve of the holiday, LEVCHYK hosted a creative workshop where children made Easter crafts and decorated eggs.
“It was a lively and emotional process, and at the same time a warm experience of preserving traditions and feeling a connection to culture through creativity,” says Mariia Podibka, art therapy specialist at LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB (Lviv). Together, the children decorated krashanky using different techniques, experimented with colors and textures, and created bright pieces with Easter bunnies.

Creating decorations by hand is also part of the therapeutic process. During these activities, children develop creative skills, learn to focus, improve fine motor skills and sensory perception, and build a festive mood. As the specialist notes, group creative sessions also help children express emotions freely, expand their social circle, and gain independence. That is why LEVCHYK regularly organizes workshops for its participants with the support of patron Vadym Stolar. For example, in the summer, children made chocolate candies.
Traditionally, LEVCHYK kids in Lviv and Mykolaiv were also treated with Easter cakes by our long-time friends and partners, Milk Bar.

Children and their parents shared a moment of joy and festive spirit ahead of Easter.
We thank Vadym Stolar, our partners, and everyone who helps create an atmosphere of a happy childhood at LEVCHYK.
