Help from the "Pesyky Kyiva" dog shelter12.01.2023
On January 11, the Future for Ukraine Foundation team visited the "Pesyky Kyiva" dog shelter. Our volunteers took food for four-legged friends, cereals, and warm things to arrange sleeping places.
In total, 65 dogs are under the organization’s care, and some of them are in paid shelters in different parts of the city. The war conditions make their lives very difficult due to interruptions in the light and heating the generator is barely enough to warm the puppies. Therefore, the shelter needs help.
"We really need a home respite. Especially for puppies that need socialization. We need diapers, food, toys, and warm things. But the most important thing is love," says Anastasia, a representative of the organization.
Every day a lot of money is spent on keeping and treating dogs. So, if you have no opportunity to take the dog, the best help will be a donation to the shelter or you can just come and walk with the furries. More details are on the shelter's website.
