Future for Ukraine received the container from the USA in Lviv. The cargo has already arrived in Kyiv and be distributed to medical institutions.
“We are extremely pleased with such significant support abroad, notably because Ukrainians do it for Ukrainians. All over the world, we unite in our commitment to do our best for our state. It is very encouraging. Disposable gowns are necessary in the work of medical institutions across the country, which are currently under dozen times the burden of the war. We thank the RocMaidan team for their strong support.” — said Anna Kovaleva, co-founder of Future for Ukraine.
The two charities cooperate under a Future for Ukraine agreement with Ukraine Medical Relief, a non-profit organization established under the Rochester Regional Health Foundations, New York.
The partnership with RocMaidan will strengthen medical care for Ukrainians affected by the war. In particular, it will improve logistics and procurement of medicines for Ukraine, thus significantly reducing the cost of goods and their delivery. The cooperation will allow target donations from the United States at the request of Ukrainian medical institutions. That is, the more charitable contributions will go directly to help Ukrainians with surgery, medicine, and rehabilitation.
RocMaidan is a charity of the Rochester Ukrainian Cultural Center (USA), a non-profit organization founded to support Ukraine’s democratic voices at Kyiv’s EuroMaidan and to help the Ukrainian people fight against the brazen pseudo-fraternal aggressor
