On 25 April, a charity fashion performance, Live & Bloom, was held to support women who had experienced sexual violence committed by the russian military.
The spring collection show by Ukrainian designer Yanis Stepanenko was presented within the Live & Bloom photo exhibition and ended with an auction, where we collected UAH 25,500 for psychological assistance to Ukrainian women during the war.
The topic of sexual violence during military conflicts is highly important and relevant during the Russian-Ukrainian war. We speak aloud about the need to provide qualified psychological help for women who have experienced sexual violence during the war! We remind society that women whose loved ones went missing during the russian military aggression or are held captive, need mental health support! Today, more than 8,000 Ukrainians are in russian captivity and 37,000 of our citizens are considered missing.
