From May 30 to June 8, a series of charity photo days, “Kiss of the Rose”, were held in the blooming Klovsky Sad to support the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB in Lviv, a space for correctional help for children on the spectrum from the Future for Ukraine Foundation.
This event combined the beauty of nature, the power of community, and a sincere desire to help. Each photo taken among the flowers of the Klovsky Sad was more than just a snapshot — it contributed to the future of children on the spectrum, allowing them to receive the necessary corrective help. Thanks to the guests of the photo days who took photos for a donation, this year we managed to raise 118,800 UAH to support the activities of the LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB.
"These funds will be used to provide remedial classes for children on the spectrum. These are much-needed classes with a speech therapist and sensory integration, art and music therapy — all aimed to help them to understand this world better, themselves, and integrate into society safely and confidently," comments Olha Hliuza, head of projects and programs at the Children's Aid direction of the Future for Ukraine Foundation.
The LEVCHYK SPECTRUM HUB is a place where children with ASD who were forced to leave their homes because of the war receive professional help: they work with a neuropsychologist, physiotherapists, attend sensory and music therapy, and prepare for school.
It is important to understand that children on the spectrum need special conditions. They gradually open up, learn the most necessary skills, socialize, and express themselves. This is the second time that Klovsky Sad and LEVCHYK have teamed up on a joint charity initiative because they understand the value of true care.
"We do what we love and do best — create unique photo zones where guests can take inspiring photos. Each of them carries important meanings. Each time we choose a foundation, we can support it through our photo days. We are happy to create special moments for our guests and at the same time help those who need it," comments Nina Lisachenko, founder of the Klovsky Sad.
Ukrainian theater and film actress, presenter, and producer Olena Lavreniuk has become the ambassador of the “Kiss of the Rose” photo days. MARVIS, a brand of unique Italian toothpastes, served as a partner. During the week of the charity , hundreds of guests received not only positive impressions, but also photos as a memory of their participation in much-needed help for children on the autism spectrum.
We sincerely thank all our partners, photographers, and guests of the photo days for supporting the charity initiative!
